How to Make Doglicious, Healthy Frozen Treats For Your Dog.

We have seen a few examples of these delicious looking dog paw treats popping up on our Instagram feed lately. A few of you have been asking what they are, how you make them and where to get the moulds.

Fortunately for us, and you, @ArkhamHounds has just produced a fresh batch and were happy to share their secrets. In fact, you will be surprised at just how simple it is to create these treats that your dogs are bound to love. A much healthier alternative than some of the dog treats you will find in the pet store!!!

Let’s share with you 4 different ideas to get started and to help you produce your own version of these healthy and nutritious dog treats for your four-legged friends.

What You Need to Make Your Own Dog Paw Treats

Pink Paw Treats

Ingredients

  • Blueberries
  • Banana
  • Goat’s Kefir
  • Just a teaspoon of coconut oil

Green Paw Treats

Ingredients

  • Kale
  • Broccoli
  • Banana
  • Coconut milk

Method

For both of these recipes simply blitz the ingredients together in a blender until you get the consistency show in the below photograph, pour into the moulds and then freeze.

Bone Broth

Ingredients

  • Bone Broth – ready prepared

Method

Using one of our bone broths, you can simply pour it into the moulds and freeze. No need to add anything and it is an easy, no fuss way to create yummy treats. Not only is the broth a gelatinous, nutrient-dense superfood, it is also a great addition to raw meals. Easily digested, broth has been used in nourishing traditions, the world over, to heal and restore gut health and offers a welcome return to simple, effective supportive nutrition.

Chia Seed Paws

Ingredients

  • Chia Seeds
  • Crushed Pumpkin
  • Sunflower Seeds

Method

Leave the chia seeds to soak so that they turn into a jelly and then add the crushed pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Mix together and freeze.

Where Can I Buy the Silicone Moulds?

The silicone paw moulds can be purchased from Amazon and in addition to paws, you can choose bones and other dog themed options.

The Natural, Nutritious Alternative

All of these treats contain nutritious, all natural ingredients that have a whole host of benefits for your dog. Use as an addition to their raw meals or give as a treat to cool them down on a hot summers day. As with all treats, ensure that they are given in moderation and as part of their daily allowance of food.

Why not try it at home and see how you get on. Remember to tag us on Instagram in your attempts. We’d love to see them.
