WHO ARE TITRE TEST CLINICS FOR?

Our titre test clinics are for anyone who wants to check the level of immunity to core canine disease so you can avoid over-vaccination. They are conducted by Dr Vicky Simon, Holistic Vet, accompanied by her vet nurse and our very own Caroline Spencer, Behavourist at ProDog

Dr. Vicky Simon, a holistic vet with a wealth of experience, runs the clinics and carries out the titre tests. With her holistic approach to canine health, she is the perfect vet to guide you through the benefits of titre testing. ABOUT CAROLINE SPENCER, CANINE BEHAVIOURIST

Caroline Spencer, our expert canine behaviourist, will also be on hand to greet you and ensure your dog has the best experience possible. Caroline is a highly respected canine behaviourist and author with over 30 years of experience exploring the complexities of dog–human relationships. Holding a Diploma in Advanced Canine Behaviour, she is best known for her compassionate, insight-led approach that prioritises understanding over obedience.

We understand that vet visits can be stressful, especially for nervous dogs, so if you have any concerns, be sure to mention them when booking. Caroline is here to provide support and guidance and answer any questions you have. However, Vicky’s clinics are different from a typical vet visit and are held in a relaxed, non-clinical environment.

If your dog is reactive, please let us know in advance and ensure muzzle training is in place if needed.

What to expect on the day

Dr. Vicky takes time to ensure your dog is comfortable and relaxed in the situation, no shaving is required to take the blood from your dog. If you would like to bring your dogs favourite treats, please do, but rest assure we have plenty of natural treats for your dog.

We came to the September Titre Clinic, it was such a positive experience with everyone putting the dogs at ease before the test. The test itself was so quick and painless I’m not sure the dogs even noticed! Thank you.
